About Me

I started photography as a teenager with a point-and-shoot camera. I have come a long way since those days but I still love photography and being able to capture a moment in time. Whether it is a landscape or the minute two people become husband and wife, my passion is capturing memories to hold forever.
If you are in the Pacific Northwest (or want to fly me somewhere, oh, like Hawaii or Mexico or Europe) and interested in having me take photographs of you, please contact me at
kicaldwell{at}gmail{dot}com

Thank you to all the people who have allowed me to photograph you and your families. Enjoy.

Curtis and Brenda's Wedding

I was asked to second shoot my brother-in-laws wedding. This is my first attempt at a wedding. It was a ton of fun. Though, with my husband as a groomsman and my son as the ring bearer, it was quite intense. I learned a lot!

The rehearsal...

The rehearsal dinner...
I loved this shot of the two of them.

The day of the wedding...
There were some pretty sharp looking groomsmen.

And a very Kentucky appropriate best man gift.

Brenda getting ready.

I loved the blue of the bridesmaids dresses.

A few shots of the dress.

The back of the dress was beautiful and had amazing lace trim.
Here is a black and white of the back.

My mother-in-law did the flowers and the pew decorations. She did a beautiful job.

The ceremony...
Pronouncing them husband and wife.

Here is a photo taken by the other photographer. She got a great one of the whole wedding party.

I promise more photos soon.
